Sunny days/long ago

Today the sun is shining & it's warm enough to sit in the yard in a thin cotton dress & marvel that the tomatoes & nasturtiums & snapdragons are still flowering. It feels more like summer again than fall & I hunted through some of the photos I took with my Minolta to remind me of those days:

Right now I'm thinking of rivers in the Catskills & rivers in Oregon you must climb down to reach & rivers with islands inside of them.
