Maybe Mabon

Today is Mabon if yr witchy & the equinox if yr not. Either way, the light & the dark are in perfect balance. (Also summer's over. Also fall's begun. But we can talk about that later.)

Last year I did a kind of gratitude & prosperity-spell-my-way (I don't care too much about getting money [see: poetry/my current job], but I do care a lot about attracting good & giving ppl & having a future where I am blessed with endless happiness & gratitude & always feel like I have enough).

If yd like to do the same, get some stuff that represents the harvest (acorns! apples! grapes! red or orange stuff!) & put it on yr altar (table) & do a thanks-giving circle: offering thanks as you face each direction -- for home, finances, and physical health (north); for gifts of knowledge (east); for accomplishments in career and hobbies (south); for relationships (west); and for spiritual insights and messages (center).

Then do an abbreviated version of a prosperity candle, marking a prosperity rune (google it) in a tea light, lighting it (in a dish full of sand) & meditating on the types of prosperity you want to come to you & how you envision yrself taking advantage of them. Then, release the candle to do the continued meditating for you & let it burn itself out!

You don't even have to eat a grape or light a candle. Call it visualization or stating an intent or casting a spell, but I suggest you do it to take advantage of the balance that this day affords.
