What I would call "summertime" still hasn't taken hold in Portland, so my dreams of weekly BBQs & laying out on Sauvie & reading magazines in the sun & taking Polaroids of the stone stacks at Cannon beach haven't yet come true.
In the meantime, I will be enjoying gorgeous illustrations of the summer I wish I were having & looking forward beyond belief to next weeks trip to FL.

sigh. We don't have a summertime right now either due to this tropical rainforest climate hellishness. Can't we control the weather yet?

Turns out no. Otherwise we wouldn't have droughts in some places & "spring" in others.
